SSI Search and Recovery Course
Have you ever been asked by a local sailor to help them find an object they lost underwater? Objects can be dropped off docks and boats and by scuba divers too. It can be a tricky thing locating an object underwater but there are effective ways to search for and locate objects on the seabed. The search and recovery course will teach you which technique to use for varying circumstances giving you the greatest chance of success.
The fun part of this course is giving your dive skills a polish you may not have thought possible.
• Search and recovery dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and how to deal with potential problems
• How to locate large and small objects using search patterns
• How to use a lift bag and other recovery methods
• Limited visibility search techniques

Prerequisites
Medical Certification within 12 months.
SSI Open Water Diver.
