Registration form and waiver
I undertake to comply with and follow the orders and instructions issued by the guides, instructors
or company managers in order to safeguard my safety, the protection of the environment or the
good practice of the sport.
According to the Spanish DECREE 22/2012, of 27 January, of the Consell, regulating active tourism in
the Comunitat Valenciana. [2012/909] we present here the conditions of registration for the activity
with Scuba Moraira SL.
Article 9. Obligations of users or clients
Users and clients are obliged to follow the instructions and indications regarding safety, respect for
the environment and the practice of the activity issued by the monitors and those responsible for
the active tourism companies.
Article 10. Rights and guarantees of users or customers
a) Diving/snorkelling trip along the coast of Moraira/Benitachell between Javea and Calpe.
b) In our briefing we will inform you that we do not touch or at least avoid touching the seabed and
rocks. We will also inform you that nothing that is part of the marine life can be taken out of the sea.
c) We advise you to bring a swimming costume to make it easy and comfortable to put on your
wetsuit. If you bring your own diving equipment make sure you bring:
wetsuit, bcd, waders and fins, mask and snorkel, regulator and a dsmb and whistle.
After the dive it is possible to shower, so it is advisable to bring a towel and dry clothes.
You must be in good health and able to sign a medical declaration on honour. We do not accept
children under 12 years old for diving.
The dives in this area are of an easy level and without eminent dangers. You as a diver are obliged to
follow the instructions of our dive guide at all times.
On certain days and certain dives we will only accept divers with a certification that allows them to
dive deeper than 18 metres.
d) In the event of an accident the Scuba Moraira emergency plan posted in the shop will apply.
e) Scuba Moraira has a civil liability insurance.
f) Our prices are displayed at the entrance of the shop and on the web.
Single dive with scuba equipment: 59 euros (VAT included)
Individual dive with own equipment: 39 euros (VAT included)
Try dive : 75 euros (VAT included)
g) The client will be refunded in full in case of cancellation by Scuba Moraira SL.
Clients who do not show up without prior notice will be charged in full for the dive. Same day
cancellations will also be charged half price.
h) In the event of damage to equipment caused by the client, the client will be charged for the cost
of repair.
(i) Existence of complaint forms available to customers.
j) If applicable, maximum number of divers per instructor 5.
Use of the service and responsibilities
Scuba Moraira does not guarantee the permanent availability of the services offered on the web
site, being exonerated from any kind of responsibility for possible damages caused by the
unavailability of the services due to force majeure or errors in the data transfer networks, beyond its
control.
The client declares that he/she is aware that the information provided by Scuba Moraira SL through
its services is not of a legal nature and is only offered for information purposes.
Privacy and protection of personal data
By providing their e-mail address or other personal details, which is a necessary requirement for the
contracting of certain services, the Clients give their permission for these addresses to be processed
and, furthermore, used to send commercial communications for the promotion or advertising of the
services and products offered by Scuba Moraira SL, which makes available to the Clients the e-mail
address info@scubamoraira.com and the telephone number 966 492 006, so that they can revoke
the consent given.
Scuba Moraira SL declares that it complies with current legislation regarding data protection, in
particular Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and Royal
Decree 1720/2007, of 21 December, which approves the Regulations for the development of the
aforementioned Organic Law. Scuba Moraira makes available to the Clients the means of contact
referred to in the previous paragraph so that they can exercise their rights of access, rectification,
cancellation and opposition guaranteed by current legislation.

MORAIRA SL
THEIR OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CREW, DESIGNEES, AGENTS, SPONSORS, VOLUNTEERS AND
ADVERTISERS, AS WELL AS ALL INVOLVED DIVE BOATS, AND TO
HOLD THESE ENTITIES AND INDIVIDUALS (THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) HARMLESS FROM ANY AND ALL
LIABILITIES ARISING AS A RESULT OF ANY ACTS OR OMISSIONS ON THEIR PART, INCLUDING, BUT
NOT LIMITED TO, ACTIVE OR PASSIVE NEGLIGENCE OR NEGLIGENCE OF ANY TYPE.
I understand that scuba diving is a hazardous activity with inherent risks and dangers associated
therewith including, but not limited to, risks associated with equipment failure, perils of the sea, as
well as acts of fellow divers which could result in my serious injury or death. BY WAY OF MY
SIGNATURE I EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL RISKS OF SCUBA DIVING OR SNORKELING OR SWIMMING, and
ALL ASSOCIATED RISKS, WHETHER THESE RISKS ARE SPECIFICALLY SET FORTH OR NOT. IT IS MY
INTENTION TO RELEASE THE RELEASED PARTIES FOR ANYTHING THAT MIGHT HAPPEN DURING TO
ME WHICH RESULTS IN PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.
By my signature on this release, I assert that I am physically fit to participate in the activity of
swimming, scuba diving and snorkeling and I agree by way of my signature that I will not hold any of
the released parties or above named individuals, persons, or entities responsible if I am injured as a
result of any medical conditions while swimming, Scuba diving and/or snorkeling. I do not have in my
possession any illegal drugs, nor am I taking, nor have I recently taken any drugs or medications
which could cause an adverse reaction as a result of combining such drugs and/or medication with
scuba diving.
Prior to diving, I will inspect all equipment to be used to make sure that it is in good operating
condition. I will not hold the released parties or anyone else responsible for my failure to inspect my
equipment prior to diving or for any equipment failure which may occur.
I understand that I have an affirmative duty to plan and carry out my own dive and to be responsible
for my own safety.
By way of my signature I expressly agree that I will plan all my dives as no decompression dives and
within safe limits of recreational scuba diving.
I am fully aware and have been trained in the dangers, risks and hazards of holding my breath while
diving on compressed air. I fully agree not to hold the released parties responsible for any such
injuries sustained by me.
I understand that this diving activity may be conducted in a remote site by time and distance from a
medical facility and a recompression chamber. Nevertheless, I expressly wish to proceed with this
diving activity and assume all related risks.
BY WAY OF MY SIGNATURE ON THIS DOCUMENT IT IS MY EXPRESS INTENTION TO GIVE UP MY
RIGHT TO
SUE ALL INDIVIDUALS, OR ENTITIES OR VESSELS REFERRED TO HEREIN, (THE “RELEASED PARTIES”)
WHETHER SPECIFICALLY NAMED OR NOT, FROM ALL LIABILITY ARISING AS A CONSEQUENCE OF ANY
ACT OR OMISSION INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ACTIVE OR PASSIVE NEGLIGENCE, INCLUDING
GROSS NEGLIGENCE. I FULLY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD THE RELEASED PARTIES HARMLESS
FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY OF ANY SORT, INCLUDING WRONGFUL DEATH
ON BEHALF OF MYSELF, MY HEIRS AND ASSIGNS, AND I EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL RISKS IN
CONNECTION WITH SWIMMING, SNORKELING AND SCUBA DIVING ACTIVITIES.

DOCUMENT IN ITS ENTIRETY.
